Red Mill Reaches Full Occupancy

The former Redmill Snack Foods site in Wednesbury has been revamped and fully let in its first year under new ownership.

The 120,000 sq ft site was acquired by Goold Estates last year and the business has since invested £1.2m in its redevelopment.

The latest name to take space at Red Mill Trading Estate is Combat HVAC, which agreed a lease on a 26,000 sq ft unit and joins the likes of Angel Remy, RS Distribution and Morgan Sindall Property Services.

Dominic Goold. Managing Director of Goold Estates, said “The success of the scheme has been fantastic. We recognised the local shortage of available quality industrial and warehouse units locally and so reacted quickly when the opportunity arose.”

“We started the speculative scheme immediately after the purchase, which included demolition works to open up the estate and a full refurbishment of the existing units.”

Harris Lamb in Birmingham acted as letting agents on Red Mill Trading Estate.
