Goold Estates sweeps Industrial Deal of the Year award for the second-year running
Goold Estates celebrated success at the Insider Annual West Midlands Property Awards 2025, winning the Industrial Deal of the Year Award for the second consecutive year.
The award recognised the completion of a 405,000 sq ft letting to Pallet-Track at Waterway Business Park, Wolverhampton. The transaction doubled the size of Pallet-Track’s West Midlands hub and was the largest industrial letting in the Midlands in the first quarter of 2025.
The transaction directly supports Pallet-Track’s growth strategy, helping to retain and create local jobs while delivering projected operational efficiencies equivalent to 64 million miles saved annually. By reoccupying an existing building rather than constructing a new facility, the deal also delivered a significant sustainability benefit, saving approximately 15,206 tonnes of CO₂.
Goold Estates previously secured the award in 2024 for the acquisition of a 15-acre brownfield site in Bilston and securing multi-million-pound funding for what will become Foundry Business Park. The scheme will provide 165,000 sq ft of new industrial and urban logistics accommodation, support the City of Wolverhampton Council’s economic strategy, and create over 300 jobs
