Dennis Eagle has landed in new industrial unit

Investment and development company Goold Estates has completed construction of a new warehouse unit in the West Midlands for one of the world’s leading manufacturers of refuse collection vehicles.

Dennis Eagle – part of the Terberg RosRoca Group – is expanding its operations into the 9,120 sq ft unit at Beecham Business Park, Aldridge.

Dennis Eagle is a world leader in the design and manufacture of refuse collection vehicles, with an established reputation for supplying quality products that meet the highest expectations in terms of performance, cost and delivery.

The company is an existing tenant at Beecham Business Park, with a 26,286 sq ft unit. It has taken a new 10-year lease on its existing unit and agreed a 10-year lease on the new unit, at an agreed rent of £63,840 per year, with index-linked reviews.

Main contractor Amphion Construction delivered the unit a month ahead of schedule and completed a full fit-out programme.

Dominic Goold, managing director of Birmingham-based Goold Estates, said: “Construction of the new unit at Beecham Business Park marks another major investment by Goold Estates and completes the redevelopment of Beecham Business Park.

“We are delighted to have secured Dennis Eagle for 10 more years in their existing unit and the new warehouse, which will give them prominence at the front of the estate, overlooking a busy route in and out of the borough.”

Dennis Eagle aftermarket director Geoff Rigg said: “Aldridge has served us well over the years, so expanding at this site was an easy decision and the process was straight forward thanks to the professionalism of Goold Estates.

“We use the existing Aldridge facility for a range of activities, from repair and maintenance of vehicles to training, but our aftermarket services have expanded significantly in recent years and we need more room. The new unit suits our requirements perfectly.”

Goold Estates acquired Beecham Business Park in 2017, in a £2.4 million deal and has completed a multi-million-pound refurbishment and construction programme. It is fully let with 15 tenants, including Sleep Design and Westway Nissan.

Last year, Goold completed the speculative development of Steelpark in Wednesfield, delivering 70,000 sq ft of industrial/warehouse units. All six units were sold to investors and occupiers. Contact Goold Estates on 0121 217 8888 or email info@gooldestates.com.
