Goold Estates Proud to Support Wombourne Cricket Club

At Goold Estates, we are delighted to support Wombourne Cricket Club (WCC) and are proud to play a small part in helping this fantastic community club continue to thrive.

Having worked with Steve Hussey, Chairman of WCC, for more than eight years, we were particularly pleased to be given the opportunity to become a club sponsor.

Celebrating an impressive 150-year history, Wombourne Cricket Club is much more than a sporting organisation. It is a valued part of the local community, bringing people together and providing opportunities for players, families and supporters to enjoy the game.

To mark the end of the season, Steve Mewis, Lara Angell and Sue Hanley visited the club to watch a match and see first-hand the important role WCC plays within the local community. It was a great opportunity to spend time at the club, meet members and supporters, and experience the welcoming atmosphere that has helped make WCC such a valued part of the area for many years.

Like many grassroots clubs, WCC relies on the support of its members, sponsors and volunteers to maintain its facilities, invest in its future and continue its long-standing success. The backing of local businesses plays an important role in helping the club remain at the heart of the community.

At Goold Estates, we are passionate about supporting local organisations and the communities in which we work. We are therefore proud to support Wombourne Cricket Club and its remarkable 150-year legacy, and we wish everyone at the club every success for the seasons ahead.
